Luxury Travel for Less

You heard about Luxury Travel. You have seen other people going on Luxury Travel, thanks to social media. Have you wonder or say to your self “If I am rich..I could have done the same”.  Well.. who says you need to be super rich to go on a Luxury holiday.. Hope this guidelines will help you to plan your holiday with all the best of everything.

Choose a Cheap 5-Star Destination

When you look for a destination, think of a nation first.  Select a nation where your money purchases a considerable measure. At that point discover the luxury experience inside it. If you thinking of North America then scratch that idea and consider Central America.
If  Europe is your destination, the east is certainly less expensive than the west. Consider Budapest, Hungary; Prague, Czech Republic; or Krakow, Poland. Consider nations like Slovenia, Croatia, or Romania. Venture to every part of the border of Western Europe as opposed to the middle. Destinations that are more remote from the middle have a tendency to be more affordable.

Go-Less Central and Less Touristy

 lifeguard-post-picture
Capital city of any country is expensive and far more commercialised as well. Governments may have implemented rules for minimum charges or they would have implemented city taxes. Even the local community may have come to agreements to maintain a standard rate for every thing. By remaining outside the city you can get a genuine experience of it country life.
In less popular tourist area, you will probably get more for less amount of money.

Choose the Destination That Has Cheaper Flights

The direct flights are much cheaper than getting to your destination via connecting flights. Therefore look for destinations which has direct flights from your airport. Spending less on your flights will help you to increase your budget to spend on hotels, excursions and indulge your self in Luxury items.

HEATHROW AIRPORT’S CHEAPEST CAR PARKING

Looking for the best deal on a car parking Space at Heathrow Airport? There are many comparison websites and car parks. So how do you know which one offers the best rates for Heathrow Airport Parking. Also how to check whether they will take a good care of your vehicle.
Before choosing a car park, first you have to decide whether you are going to park at Heathrow Airport itself or an off site car park. Off site car parks have two options one is the Park and ride which offers the shuttle service. The other service is the Meet and Greet.

Heathrow-airport-parking

OFF-SITE PARKING

Off-site parking is normally less than half the price of the official airport long-term car park.
Prices vary from one car park to the other and the duration.
Do not be in hurry and book if you see an add which offers a cheaper rate for 2 days. It does not mean it is cheaper on other days. Always do your research and find the cost for the number of days you need parking. Compare the airport parking on before you confirm.
Even if one car park is the cheapest for a two days stay, it doesn’t mean it’ll also be the cheapest for a week-long stay – always do your research. Go till the last page and see whether there are any surcharges. Sometimes car parks include the airport access fee in the price and some do not. There are other charges as well, card fee, Booking fees, commissions, Shuttle bus fee. Therefore check the rates  by going to the payment page to see the final cost.
Most off-site car parks provide undercover parking at an extra charge. This may save you some money on a car wash if the car park is in a muddy ground.
Some might offer advance payment discounts, it’s best to check the cancellation policy – some car parks or products may provide full or partial refunds if you give them enough notice. Read the cancelation policy  of the product/car park before you confirm. If there is a cancellation cover, get this. usually its no more than £2.
You’ll also have to leave your car key with most off-site car parks. Specially if you choose meet and greet as the driver has to take the car out of the airport.

HEATHROW AIRPORT PARKING

If you really look for the convenience of parking at the airport, then try to pre book your space than looking for a available slot on the day. You may even get a discount for booking in advance.
Airport charges for parking depending on the time of drop off and pick up. If you see less rate for a specific days check again entering your times to see whether you get the same rate.
Unlike the off site car parks, the shuttle bus do not run on demand. There are fix times so check the time table of this before you book so you have plenty of time to catch your flight.
Compare the rates to what you’d pay for Heathrow Airport parking, and you can see why people make the effort to park elsewhere on their travels.

  1. Confirmation or Reference Number
If you have booked pre-paid airport parking then you should have the confirmation along with the parking instructions. Note down the reference/print or have it in your mobile.
  1. Drivers Contact Number
You have the option to print the confirmation and bring it but it is easy to have a copy in your mobile (email) or you can add the driver’s number to your contact list.
  1. Name of the car park
If you book your airport parking online through an agent make sure to take down the name of the car park. This will be clearly mentioned on your booking confirmation.
  1. Directions to the Meeting point or the car park
heathrow-airport-parking-meet-and-greet
If you have booked meet & greet airport parking then driver will meet you at the airport and this designated places will differ from one airport to the other. Also the different car parks have different clearance from the relevant airport. Therefore make sure to have the directions to the meeting point.
If you have booked park & ride airport parking then you need the directions to the car park as you will be driving to park the vehicle.
  1. Be alert on traffic updates
airport-parking-heathrow
Check the road conditions, traffic updates before you drive to the airport. Some roads may close due to constructions or there can be traffic so you may have to take alternative routes which can take more time. Delay in arriving at the airport late will delay in handing over the vehicle to the driver and eventually you may missed your flight.
At the time of the booking, you give an approximate time so a driver will be allocated for you. If you delay to arrive then he/she may not be available to pick your car as he/she may be collecting another vehicle. Remember that you need to catch your flight.
  1. Fully Charge phone
merry-parking-contact-number
You are required to contact the car park/driver on your way as per the procedure mentioned in your booking confirmation. If you running late, coming early, or you need to get directions to the meeting point, then you will be making few calls. Therefore make sure to charge your phone fully or have a spare phone battery which is fully charged.
  1. Change of money
merry-parking-reviews
If you book park and ride then you may be charged shuttle bus and most of the time it no more than £ 5 per person so you need to have change money. If you book meet & greet then there may be an entry fee to be paid when you enter the airport. Make sure you clarify with the car park as sometimes this fee is already included in the charges so you may not have to pay again.
  1. Arriving late or early than your scheduled time.
You need to keep the car park (driver) informed of the late or early arrival. A driver will be expecting you at the meeting point and if you fail to inform the change then he/she will be busy with the next arrival and you may have to wait or not be able to hand over the vehicle at all. If you keep them informed of the change then they can adjust accordingly. This may not guarantee a smooth process but at least you can minimize the waiting time.
  1. All vehicles must be roadworthy and have valid Road Tax and MOT
  1. Check the vehicle
Before you hand over the car keys and the vehicle to the driver, check the vehicle for any damages or dents. The driver will also do an inspection and noted down so check the receipt to make sure all are correctly documented. If you are leaving any valuables in the vehicle then get a receipt from the driver for the items but its recommendable not to leave any in the car.
